Used to describe an unnecessary, fanciful concoction, Confection presents new work by artists Tom Freeman, Marian Giles and Louise Dickmann in which the same attitudes that catalysed the emergence of assemblage and collage in the 20th century are tested in the field of contemporary ceramics.
